How we handle sensitive memories
KeepSaiQ is often used to hold onto memories of people who've passed away, and grief comes up naturally in that process. We built the app to recognize when something shared is emotionally sensitive and respond with extra care — our role is always to listen and reflect what you've shared back to you accurately, never to diagnose, label, or judge it. Nothing about how a memory is handled internally is ever shown to you as a flag or label.
Your privacy controls
From Settings > Privacy, you can:
Export a copy of your data
Opt out of specific AI analysis (like emotion detection on photos)
Request deletion of your account and content
Your family's space is private by default — only people you've explicitly invited can see it, and content shared publicly (like an artifact share link) is always something you choose to share, with links that expire.
Getting outside support
If something you're going through feels bigger than what KeepSaiQ can help with, we'll gently point you toward outside resources when it seems like it would help. KeepSaiQ is a place to hold and share memories — it isn't a substitute for a mental health professional, and we'll never pretend otherwise.
